If you find yourself dealing with an emergency that brings with it unexpected expenses, financial support is available. Four military relief societies stand ready to help.
Types of Support
Army Emergency Relief Society, Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society, Air Force Aid Society and Coast Guard Mutual Assistance provide no-interest loans, grants and many community programs to eligible Service members and spouses, as well as eligible veterans and their families to assist with:
- Rent and utilities
- Food
- Baby supplies
- Vehicle repair
- Emergency travel
- Scholarships
Making Contact
While the first step is often the hardest, it’s probably the most important. Make contact. Visit their websites and/or call.
