Kids and Couponing

Primary Text Separator for Milspouse Money Mission, Financial Education for Military Spouses

I’ve started teaching my children how to be frugal and save money. I’ve also taught them about couponing. They have started helping me clip coupons and watch for sales. We also scout toys at garage sales. I’m showing them their money will go a lot further if they don’t pay full price!

I’ve also had them doing small things at our rental properties like mow the lawn or pick up sticks to earn extra cash. We want them to experience earning money, but also budgeting and frugality while they are young!
